Silverstone Euro F3: Felix Rosenqvist completes hat-trick of poles
Category veteran Felix Rosenqvist completed a hat-trick of pole positions for the Formula 3 European Championship opener at Silverstone in the second qualifying session
The Swede - who bagged race one pole earlier today - leapt onto pole position on his first hot lap in his Prema Powerteam Dallara-Mercedes, then had a cool-down lap during which Charles Leclerc stole the top spot with his Van Amersfoort Racing Dallara-VW.
Then Rosenqvist attacked again, going a tenth quicker to demote Leclerc for race-two pole, while his earlier effort earned him the top spot for race three, decided by second-fastest times.

The Hankook tyres gave a much longer peak operating window in this session, meaning that drivers had more opportunity to go for a quick time even if they had been delayed in traffic.
"I'm always a bit worried about the traffic," admitted Rosenqvist. "I know your session can easily be screwed if you don't get space.
"But it felt like the first session was exceptional [where the tyres only lasted for one lap at their peak] because I'd never had that before.
"I was expecting it to be normal this time and it was - my best lap was quite exciting in the car."
Leclerc was happy with second on both grids after taking fifth in opening qualifying, feeling as though this performance was more representative of his pace.
Three tenths adrift of the Monegasque was his main rookie rival George Russell, who outpaced Carlin team-mate Antonio Giovinazzi - who was suffering from slow-speed oversteer - to take third on the grid. The duo reversed their positions for race three.
Alexander Albon was one of the minority who trickled out early in the session, but his early hot laps were ruined by most of the rest of the field joining the circuit a few minutes later.
Nevertheless, he claimed fifth place for both races for the returning-to-F3 Signature team, ahead of Prema trio Brandon Maisano, Jake Dennis and Lance Stroll.
Following them was a Carlin triple, comprising Americans Gustavo Menezes and Ryan Tveter and Red Bull junior Callum Ilott, with the 16-year-old Briton squeezing into the top 10 on the grid for race three.
