Esteban Ocon and Toro Rosso F1's Max Verstappen lead Macau F3 entry
Lotus F1 junior Esteban Ocon and new Toro Rosso Formula 1 signing Max Verstappen top the entry list for November's Macau Formula 3 Grand Prix
Frenchman Ocon and Dutchman Verstappen will drive the same cars in which they have fought out this year's F3 European Championship title.
They will face stiff opposition, as the current top 11 drivers from the European F3 rankings are among the 28-car field, as well as Formula Renault 3.5 title contender Roberto Merhi and GP2 race winner Stefano Coletti.
Ocon is part of a three-car line-up of Prema Powerteam Dallara-Mercedes, with the team again running in conjunction with Theodore Racing.
Theodore was the team set up by Macau GP godfather, the late Teddy Yip Sr, and was revived last year by his son, Teddy Yip Jr (team principal of the Status GP3 squad). Alex Lynn took its colours to victory in 2013.
Ocon will be joined by Italian Ferrari protege Antonio Fuoco and Canadian Nicholas Latifi.
Verstappen leads the attack of the Van Amersfoort Racing Dallara-VW team in what will be his last race before he graduates full-time to F1.
Top British team Carlin takes five Dallara-VWs, all for its European F3 regulars, including race winners Tom Blomqvist and Antonio Giovinazzi.
Other European F3 race victors in the field are Mucke Motorsport pair Felix Rosenqvist - runner-up in Macau in 2012 - and Lucas Auer.
The champions of British and German F3 are entered, respectively Martin Cao with Fortec and Markus Pommer with Motopark.
Two of the outsiders for the Japanese title - Toyota protege Kenta Yamashita and Nissan prospect Mitsunori Takaboshi - are also on the entry list.
All of the competitors save Coletti and FR3.5 racer Will Buller have qualified for Macau by racing in an F3-spec event this year - Coletti will join the EuroInternational team for the Euro F3 finale at Hockenheim next week, while Buller races at Imola this weekend with Signature on its return to F3.
Apart from Blomqvist and Buller there are four other UK drivers in the field. Carlin fields Jordan King and Jake Dennis, British and German F3 race winner Sam MacLeod joins top Japanese team TOM'S, while Hong Kong-based Dan Wells is also with a team from Japan: Toda Racing.
