Marc Marquez finds rhythm on final day of Sepang test

Marc Marquez believes he has found his rhythm on Honda's RC213V as his 2012 MotoGP testing schedule concluded at Sepang

The Spaniard's post-season has been disrupted by poor weather, both at the opening Valencia test and then on the first day in Malaysia.

He supplemented 60 laps of dry running yesterday with 41 on his final day, which included a final long-run that was cut short as rain returned at the close.

Having ended the third day with a best of 2m01.56s - two tenths down on his Tuesday best but still 0.6s clear of Gresini's Alvaro Bautista - Marquez said he was settling into MotoGP machinery.

"In the end I am very happy because my lap time was pretty constant and I feel a good rhythm on the bike now," the Moto2 champion said.

"Physically, I'm happy - for sure I need to do some work now in the winter to arrive at the next test stronger and fitter but in general I feel good, even on the longer run of 10 laps today, the lap time was consistent and I felt strong.

"It's been a good test and I feel we have improved each day.

"We tested many things today, we knew that some wouldn't work but it gives us an idea and direction for the testing here in February next year.

"Now we must wait a few months until we are back here with everyone else."
