The message at the conclusion of the Italian Grand Prix is very clear ... Brawn are back! The one-two finish for the team today gives them a very healthy advantage over Red Bull going into the final four races of the season.
Today was nothing short of a disaster for Red Bull and one has to feel sorry for them after such a strong season. Mark Webber's race ended on the first lap, making it three races without scoring.
Meanwhile, Vettel simply didn't have the pace. He was struggling behind Kovalainen in the early stages of the race. They pitted together and Kovalainen got the better deal with traffic at the exit. Heidfeld was close to the duel prior to the stop, and by staying out a few laps later the BMW was able to make up a place on Sebastian, compounding his miserable afternoon.

Lap 53: Lewis Hamilton is out of the race!
Lap 53: Sebastian Vettel has been working wonders in the last few laps. That six second gap to Heidfeld in eighth in down to just 1.5 seconds, but there is only one lap to go.
Lap 53: Barrichello is on course for victory at Monza.
Lap 53: Hamilton is now just 1.2 seconds behind Button but there is little time left for a move with less than two laps remaining.
Lap 52: Glock got through up the inside and up to 12th place. He can now chase after Nakajima. Trulli slid wide at the first Lesmo into the gravel, and has lost a further place to Buemi.
Lap 52: Trulli then ran wide out of the first chicane, and with Glock right there in 13th the battle between the Toyotas was on. The team-mates fought hard into the Roggia and then in Lesmo 1 Trulli lost control of the TF109.
Lap 51: The best scrap at the top of the order remains Raikkonen defending heavily from Sutil as they dispute fourth.

Lap 47: The top three remain within six seconds as Hamilton continues a chase of Button for second.
Lap 46: Sutil continues to hound Raikkonen but the Ferrari has KERS to help in the defence of Kimi's fourth place.
Lap 46: Giancarlo Fisichella is 10th and has closed in on Vettel as a result of that incident. The gap between them is 6.3 seconds, and the Italian is given encouragement from race engineer Rob Smedley to close the gap to the Red Bull.
