WRC - Australia: Loads of fans pouring into the superspecial stages in Coffs Harbour tonight.

Unfortunately for them, they've missed the Audi Quattro E2 which sounded gorgeous as it passed AUTOSPORT on the road.

Elfyn Evans and Chris Atkinson are the first cars to take to the stage.
MotoGP - Misano: Bradl now goes fourth and Iannone sixth in what is becoming a very crowded top half-dozen.
FR3.5 - Hungaroring: The cars head back out for the remaining 23 minutes of qualifying.

That stoppage will have disrupted the run plan a bit, as by now the drivers would have hoped to have a couple of flying laps under their belts and good temperature in the tyres.

Instead, they've got to build up to that again, and still find time to come back in to take on a second set of tyres. Perhaps this will rid us of the traditional mid-session silence we usually get.
Formula E - Beijing: Montagny is the main man making progress in this race. He's passed Chandhok to move into fifth behind Heidfeld, and now Bird is onto Chandhok.
Formula E - Beijing: Sato's car has stopped on track. He's also being investigated for the opening-lap incident with Senna.

No certainty of whether Sato will carry on in FE yet, though, as he's only standing in for the DTM-occupied Antonio Felix da Costa today, so if he gets a penalty it might be pretty irrelevant.
Formula E - Beijing: Back on track after repairs, Buemi sets the fastset lap. That carries bonus points in this series so gives him a chance to salvage something.
MotoGP - Misano: We're into the final five minutes, and the riders are really going at it all guns blazing now.

Lorenzo wipes a whole half a second off Marquez's previous best, with a 1m34.256s, to go back to the top of the timesheets.
MotoGP - Misano: Dovizioso goes second quickest, just over a tenth shy of Lorenzo, with Smith now up to third from Pedrosa, Marquez and Rossi.
Formula E - Beijing: Car change pitstops are beginning - Sarrazin and Alguersuari are first in.
WRC - Australia: Evans has completed his superspecial runs.

He'll end the day in ninth, now ahead of M-Sport team-mate Robert Kubica after the Pole's excursion on the last stage, and just behind Thierry Neuville's Hyundai.

"Not a great day in terms of times but good for personal development," reckons rookie Evans.
MotoGP - Misano: Dovizioso goes quickest on a 1m34.155s, before future works Ducati team-mate Iannone ousts his countryman almost immediately with a 1m34.120s.
Formula E - Beijing: The entire top five come in on the same lap to make their car change pitstops.

There's a mandatory time for these so it's not a case of how fast they can leap in and out.
MotoGP - Misano: Less than a minute to go now, and Bradl and Aleix Espargaro are looking set for a visit to Q1 as things stand.
FR3.5 - Hungaroring: Nicholas Latifi has crashed at Turn 2, and we've got Zoel Amberg off track and stuck in the grass further round the lap.

15 minutes to go, and the top six is Jaafar; Vaxiviere; Gasly; Merhi; Rowland; Stockinger.

Championship leader Carlos Sainz Jr, who has aborted a couple of decent-looking laps in a quest for some clear track, currently sits 12th as everyone comes in for their next set of tyres.
MotoGP - Misano: Espargaro moves up to seventh, meaning it's now Hernandez who looks set to miss out.
Formula E - Beijing: Somehow the Abt team managed to lose time in that process, di Grassi comes out behind Heidfeld and Abt looked like he'd been jumped by Montagny.

Bird now has the race lead, but he's due in on the next lap.
MotoGP - Misano: That's the end of the session, and Bradl and Hernandez have both missed out on automatic Q2 slots.

Iannone's time atop the leaderboard remains unbeaten, which will come as a major confident boost for the Italian ahead of his second home race of the year.
Formula E - Beijing: Prost is now back in the lead, with Heidfeld up to second ahead of di Grassi, Montagny, Abt and Bird.
Formula E - Beijing: While Prost's lead has grown during that pit process, the Heidfeld-di Grassi-Montagny gang for second is very close with 10 laps left.
FR3.5 - Hungaroring: Swift work from the marshals to recover Latifi's and Amberg's cars. Now we wait for everyone to head back out for what should be the deciding laps of the session.

It's been a disrupted qualifying so far, and several big hitters are going to be under pressure to get a clean lap in. This is not a track where you want to be starting out of position with places to make up.
MotoGP - Misano: Here's a quick run-down of the top 10 times from that session:

1) Iannone 1m34.120s
2) Dovizioso +0.035s
3) Lorenzo +0.136s
4) Marquez +0.164s
5) Pedrosa +0.300s
6) Rossi +0.332s
7) A Espargaro +0.460s
8) Smith +0.466s
9) P Espargaro +0.483s
10) Bautista +0.646s
WRC - Australia: Kubica is on the superspecial now. His M-Sport Ford took quite a battering in his trip off the road on the last stage and he's likely to lose more time here as service doesn't come until afterwards.

It's unlikely to jeopardise his 10th place but it's going to drop him further behind Neuville and Evans.
MotoGP - Misano: And here's a look at the riders who will be forced to battle it out in Q1 for the remaining two spots in Q2:

Bradl, Hernandez, Crutchlow, Redding, Aoyama, Camier, Abraham, de Angelis, Laverty, di Meglio, Petrucci, Barbera, Parkes.
WRC - Australia: Could've been worse for Kubica, he drops 7s to Evans.
Formula E - Beijing: Heidfeld is now getting away from di Grassi a little in the battle for second, with the aggressive Montagny having a few serious looks at the Abt car ahead as he hunts for a podium from eighth on the grid.

Prost remains in control up front.
WRC - Australia: Kubica makes it through the second run intact and can get his car properly fixed.

He's still frustrated about his crash on the last full-length stage, which happened when a yellow flag system test took him by surprise.

"It was a stupid mistake, but some things shouldn't happen," he says.
Formula E - Beijing: Tight battle for sixth between Chandhok and Bird, and the Mahindra man gets the place back.

Buemi has retired, but the bonus points for fastest lap look to be his.
FR3.5 - Hungaroring: Things are coming alive in the final minutes of qualifying. F3 European championship leader Esteban Ocon briefly went to the top of the times, but he has lost P1 to Oliver Rowland, while Pierre Gasly is up to third.

Three minutes to go and Sainz is ninth...
WRC - Australia: Slightly weird running order for this stage, with podium contender Meeke having just come through.

He's currently third overall, just ahead of Mikkelsen, but is sceptical about his chances of keeping that place overnight.

Last night Meeke came into the superspecials in the lead, and came out fourth behind an all-VW top three, leaving him pretty stunned.
Formula E - Beijing: We're suddenly seeing the effect of drivers using their energy allowance at different stages of the race, as long-time leader Prost begins to come under big pressure from Heidfeld with just over four laps left.
FR3.5 - Hungaroring: Sainz probably has two flying laps left, and he's currently 14th.
FR3.5 - Hungaroring: No chance for Sainz or anyone else to improve - Sorensen has crashed and the red flags are out with just over a minute left on the clock.

Rowland takes pole from Gasly, with Nato and Vaxiviere making it three Frenchmen in the top four.

Stevens and debutant Ocon share row three, while Sainz will start from P14.
Formula E - Beijing: Prost is keeping things tidy out front as Heidfeld, di Grassi and Montagny all loom ever larger in his mirrors.
WRC - Australia: Eighth-placed Neuville is now running (told you the start order didn't make huge sense) and doesn't seem to have lost any pace with the amount of cosmetic damage he did to his Hyundai on the last stage, when he clipped what he reckons was a postbox.
Formula E - Beijing: Alain Prost is so tense he wanders around the e.dams awning having a swig of water.

His son continues to hold off Heidfeld onto the penultimate lap.

Sato, who is running again, now pinches Buemi's fastest lap bonus.
Formula E - Beijing: Half a lap to go and Prost is hanging on in front of Heidfeld.
Formula E - Beijing: Heidfeld makes a last-corner move on Prost, they make contact, and Heidfeld flies down the escape road into the barriers, getting airborne and landing upside down.

Di Grassi picks up the victory.
Formula E - Beijing: Heidfeld climbs out of his car, thankfully unhurt. That was a very scary accident.
Formula E - Beijing: Heidfeld makes his displeasure known to Prost as they walk away.

We're just very glad Heidfeld walked away.
Formula E - Beijing: Away from that crash, Lucas di Grassi won for Abt, with Franck Montagny second and Daniel Abt third.
