MotoGP - Misano: The verdict from our delighted winner:
"I'm very happy, for sure," says Rossi, to no great surprise, "because it's sepcial here in Misano in front of all the crowd, my family and my friends.
"During practice it looked like my Yamaha worked very well, like we had a small advantage. We did a very good job during practice and yesterday and this morning I was very strong and knew I could fight for the victory.
"I knew I had to battle so I tried the maximum at the beginning. I did some pushing, but I knew if I could resist them I had a good pace.
"In the end, it's great. I couldn't want for more from today."

MotoGP - Misano: Lorenzo says he picked the hard front tyre not because of wear concerns, but just because he had a better feeling with it on Saturday.
But he says in the race he knew on lap one that he wasn't going to be fast enough to beat Rossi today. He's a bit disappointed that was the case, but seems genuinely pleased for Yamaha.
