Esteban Guerrieri wins Long Beach Indy Lights race
Esteban Guerrieri took a comfortable win in Sunday's Indy Lights race in Long Beach
The Sam Schmidt Motorsport driver got past polesitter Sebastian Saavedra (Andretti/AFS) at the first corner and never really looked threatened from thereon.
His final margin of victory was 1.5 seconds, although it would probably have been greater were it not for a brief spell under yellows following Alex Jones' trip into the barriers.
Gustavo Yacaman (Team Moore) was third on the road but was issued with a 30s post-race penalty that appeared to be linked to some damaged bodywork.
That handed the final podium place to Schmidt's Tristan Vautier, with Victor Carbone, Carlos Munoz and Oli Webb rounding out the top six.
