Adrian Quaife-Hobbs tops Valencia Auto GP test for Super Nova
Adrian Quaife-Hobbs topped Thursday's AutoGP test at Valencia, out-pacing the rest of the field by nearly two tenths of a second
The 21-year-old Briton, who only secured his deal with Super Nova for the rest of the season last week, was fastest for the majority of the session, his 1m23.867s lap keeping him ahead of Euronova driver Sergey Sirotkin.
Behind Sirotkin, who set his best time on used tyres and without overboost, were Quaife-Hobbs' team-mate Victor Guerin and Campos duo Facu Regalia and Max Snegirev.
New Virtuosi UK signing Sten Pentus was sixth, ahead of his championship-leading team-mate Pal Varhaug, while another series debutant, Yann Cunha, was eighth for Ombra Racing. Daniel de Jong (Manor MP) and Sergio Campana (MLR 71) completed the top 10.
