Super Nova retains Adrian Quaife-Hobbs and Victor Guerin for remainer of 2012
Super Nova International has confirmed that Adrian Quaife-Hobbs and Victor Guerin will remain with the Norfolk team for the remainder of the Auto GP World Series
Briton Quaife-Hobbs competed on a one-off deal at the first round of the championship at Monza earlier this month. The former GP3 title contender converted pole position into a race-one victory, before scoring a podium in the reverse grid race two.
Leading the drivers' championship, Quaife-Hobbs is eager to maintain his early advantage.
"I am really happy to be driving the full year for Super Nova in the Auto GP World Series - It's a fantastic opportunity, especially after such a positive weekend in Monza," said Quaife-Hobbs. "I have been very impressed with the team and how they operate. I hope that we can build on what we have achieved so far and carry this momentum through the rest of the season."
Former Italian Formula 3 race winner Victor Guerin demonstrated frontrunning pace in pre-season Auto GP testing, but the Brazilian was involved in two minor accidents during the Monza races, damaging his front wing on both occasions.
Super Nova boss David Sears added: "Adrian is one of the British Racing Drivers Club's rising stars. I am sure that with his outright speed, combined with an advanced engineering understanding, he should be capable of fighting for the championship and following in the footsteps of Romain Grosjean and Luca Filippi.
"Victor has won races in each category he has contested and we believe that we can develop him into a championship contender. We can also let him understand the English system of race teams."
Round two of the Auto GP World Series takes place at Valencia on March 31 to April 1.
