Kristensen takes Oulton feature pole
Tom Kristensen took pole for Honda for round 10 of the series this afternoon, but the surprise result was Matt Neal in the privateer Nissan lining up next to him
No manufacturer had a clear advantage, in contrast to the early season rounds of the championship - there were four different manufacturers in the top four.
James Thompson was fifth in the second Honda, behind Vauxhall's Jason Plato. The sometime championship leader was less than two tenths of a second behind the polesitter, benefitting from the exclusion of title rivals Rickard Rydell and Alain Menu.
The two Ford drivers were removed from the results for technical infringements, leaving Anthony Reid in third spot as the only Ford runner in the feature race.
James Kaye in the Barwell Motorsport Honda Integra was the top class B runner , in 10th.
