Le Mans LMP2 winner Greaves Motorsport sticks with Zytek-Nissans for 2012 World Endurance Championship and Le Mans Series progra

Le Mans Series LMP2 champion squad and Le Mans 24 Hours class winner Greaves Motorsport has ordered two 2012 Zytek chassis and will contest both the new World Endurance Championship and next year's LMS

The team will enter one of the Nissan-engined LMP2 cars in each series. LMP2 becomes the top class in the LMS from next season, as the championship separates itself from the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup's successor the WEC.

Team manager Jacob Greaves said: "We spent a lot of time and effort in examining all the potential candidates but it soon became clear that continuing the partnership with Zytek was the best course of action, particularly in view of our programme for 2012.

"We have a lot of experience with the basic package and feel that Zytek will be best placed to optimise the effects of the proposed chassis and aerodynamic rule changes that have been mandated by the ACO. We are looking forward to going racing once again with Zytek in 2012."

Greaves and drivers Karim Ojjeh, Tom Kimber-Smith and Olivier Lombard took three LMS class victories on the way to defeating Strakka and TDS in this year's LMP2 title race, and also finished eighth overall as they won the class at Le Mans.
