Jordan take over in Spain

Jordan's Jarno Trulli was fastest this morning at the ongoing multi-team test in Barcelona

Times were up to eight seconds slower than yesterday, and conditions were cold for the area, with an ambient temperature of 12 degrees C and a track temperature of 17 degrees C.

Nick Heidfeld was second fastest, marking a significant improvement for the German Prost driver who has so far struggled in Formula 1.

Mika Hakkinen joined the McLaren team, stepping in for David Coulthard who has tested for the last two days, and was fourth behind the team's test driver Olivier Panis, who continues to test.

BAR's Patrick Lemarie finally managed to accrue a useful number of laps, the Canadian test driver running in single figures for the last two days. He ran for 26 laps and was 12th of 14.
