Ryan Briscoe is hoping to match his 2008 feat and win from second at Mid-Ohio

 Ryan Briscoe is aiming to repeat his Mid-Ohio IndyCar success of 2008 by converting his front-row starting berth into victory.
Having just made it through into the final six shoot-out, Briscoe proved Scott Dixon's main challenger for pole position - at least until the Kiwi "blew us away."
Briscoe therefore was forced to settle for second, the same position he won from in 2008.
"Starting second and winning the race? I like the sound of that, and we've done it before," Briscoe said.
"I've had pole before as well, and we didn't win, so we're feeling good with the front row.
"It feels great to have a fast car that I'm able to get the most out of, so hopefully we can bring home a good result."
Briscoe added that the changeable nature of Mid-Ohio, and the sudden drop in grip when off-line, will mean strategy will be key during the race.
"It's really slippery off-line - you lose so much grip, like 1000%. It's just so dirty, its like you're in the rain.
"It's going to be difficult to race on, because you can't make mistakes and track position is huge.
"Strategy is going to be key, and its going to be hard-fought: hopefully it will be a great race tomorrow."
