'Wet or dry, I can win tomorrow,' -Rubens

Rubens Barrichello believes he can win tomorrow's British Grand Prix after qualifying on pole position, whatever the Silverstone weather brings

However as he celebrated coming out on top of the most exciting qualifying session of the season, he left a conundrum hanging in the air over who will get use of the spare car- him or team-mate Michael Schumacher.

Barrichello is four places ahead of Schumacher on the grid but the German leads the championship. The T-car can be a crucial weapon in changing conditions, with teams often setting up each car for different weather.

'It's a team matter I can't comment on,' Barrichello said. 'But the chances are it is going to be wet for the race so pole will be a definite advantage.

'If it is raining it gives me good chance to win because I have better visibility than the rest as I will not be in anyone else's spray. If it's dry I will just have to drive fast and hard and try to win my first race.

'It is the first time I have been in a competitive car, on a track I know and I hope I can give everyone in Brazil a good present tomorrow.
