Muller heads GP3 practice two

The Jenzer driver moved to the top of the timesheets shortly before the halfway mark in the 30-minute session.

There were no significant improvements from the other frontrunners from then on, leaving his slender gap over Rio Haryanto (Manor) and Andrea Caldarelli (Tech 1) safe.

Places four to six were taken by the three ART cars. James Calado led the trio of French cars ahead of Pedro Nunes, while morning pacesetter Valtteri Bottas was the only frontrunner to move up the order in the second half of the session as he took sixth.

Manor's Adrian Quaife-Hobbs took seventh despite his session ending early in the Turn 3 gravel trap. Next up was Tamas Pal Kiss, while Alexander Sims and Mitch Evans completed the top 10.
