Schumacher ready for Silverstone

Michael Schumacher is not worried about returning to Silverstone, where he broke his leg last year. Schumacher, who did not race again until the last two races of the year, has not been to Silverstone since the 1999 British GP

The double champion lost control of his car as he was overtaking team mate Eddie Irvine on the first lap of the Grand Prix, despite the fact that the race had already been red flagged.

He hit the crash barrier at 60mph and broke his right leg in two places.

"I have no strange or strong feelings when I think of going back there," he said.

"Maybe I will feel different when I arrive for the first time at that corner. But I don't believe I will because it's not something that you can do anything about."

"It doesn't matter where you are when that type of thing happens. Losing your brakes can happen anywhere. It doesn't matter where you are if you arrive with no brakes."
