Bottas leads second day of test
ART's Formula 3 convert Valtteri Bottas was quickest in both sessions on day two of this week's three-day GP3 test at Catalunya on Wednesday
The Finn's best time of 1m38.004s came in the morning, and put him 0.188 seconds ahead of second-year driver Nigel Melker (Mucke). Recent Tech 1 signing Andrea Caldarelli was third quickest, ahead of Jenzer's Nico Muller and Arden's Lewis Williamson.
Times were slower in the afternoon as most teams worked on longer runs. Bottas set the pace again with a 1m39.335s, with Williamson now his closest rival and Manor's Rio Haryanto up to third.
Bottas' team-mate James Calado, Status driver Antonio Felix da Costa and Muller completed the top six.
