Webber not feeling pressure in practice

Mark Webber says he is still feeling relaxed and confident about his chances after the opening practice day for the title decider in Abu Dhabi

The Red Bull driver was fourth, behind his three title rivals Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso, this evening, but was content with his day's work.

"Pretty good, a normal programme," said Webber. "We had an engine change between the two sessions which was planned, and the usual suspects are at the front.

"Lewis has done a pretty good lap - and it is a pretty good day.

"Where Fernando, Seb and I are, we are all pretty much on similar times, so after us four I didn't take much notice. It was like that and that is how it is."

He said the fact that this weekend would decide the world championship made no difference to how he was handling the weekend.

"I slept like a baby last night, and I'm ready to go again tonight," Webber said.

"You can only do what you can do - it feels like Bahrain in terms of the engineering and the car, so it is a normal weekend but there is a lot more at stake this weekend, so that is the only thing that has changed.

"You cannot try any harder."
