Loeb still anxious about forecast
Rally Bulgaria leader Sebastien Loeb remains in a cautious mood with heavy rain forecast for tonight - ahead of tomorrow's longest day on the Borovets-based event
Loeb leads Bulgaria's first ever World Rally Championship round by almost half a minute from fellow Citroen C4 WRC driver Dani Sordo, but the Frenchman acknowledged that, if the weather changes, anything can happen.
"The roads are nice here, I like them," he said, "but it will be really tough if it does rain. It rained yesterday, but it stopped last night and the roads had dried this morning. We had three places where the water was still standing this morning, but our gravel crew picked them all out and we knew about them.
"Who knows the weather for tomorrow? We went on the hard tyre this afternoon, we were nearly sure it wouldn't rain this afternoon. If it's a difficult choice for the tyre tomorrow, it will be difficult, the difference between the hard and soft compound in the rain is very big."
