Priaulx takes third win of 2010
Andy Priaulx won for the third time this season in the second World Touring Car race at Zolder on Sunday
The three-time world champion started from pole position thanks to his eighth place in the opening race of the day, and controlled things today from start to finish.
Fellow front row starter Norbert Michelisz made a poor start and slipped to eighth, but the rest of the grid followed Priaulx pretty much in order.
A convoy of Priaulx, Rob Huff, Tiago Monterio, Alain Menu, Yvan Muller, Gabriele Tarquini, Augusto Farfus and Norbert Michelisz circulated without incident for almost the entire distance.
The only change came when Farfus tried to drive around the outside of Tarquini into Turn 1 and the reigning champion just edged him into the gravel. Farfus rejoined eighth, behind Michelisz.
Tom Coronel, like Michelisz, had failed to get away as soon as the lights went out and dropped to the back.
Sergio Hernandez finished ninth and took independents' honours after seeing off Fredy Barth and Kristian Poulsen.
