Rick Kelly flies to race two pole

Jack Daniel's Racing's Rick Kelly took pole position for the second race of this weekend's event at Winton Motor Raceway in country Victoria after setting a new qualifying track record.
He just edged out series leader Jamie Whincup for the top spot, although Kelly had already topped the times earlier in the session. Behind them will be the third FPR car of Paul Dumbrell in third position.
Just heading a tightly-bunched group was Craig Lowndes, with Mark Winterbottom, race one winner James Courtney and Garth Tander all less than five-hundredths of a second slower than Lowndes.
The two Fujitsu Racing Holdens of Michael Caruso and Lee Holdsworth along with Steven Richards complete the top ten. Just outside the top ten in 11th, 12th and 13th were Steven Johnson, Will Davison and Russell Ingall.
Despite a strong finish in race one, Shane van Gisbergen struggled to put a quick lap together in qualifying and will start 19th, while the older brother and team-mate of the pole man, Todd Kelly, will start from the other end of the grid in 26th position. Pos Driver Car Time
