Montezemolo: No rift between drivers
Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo says there is no dispute between his drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa
Rumours of tension between the duo emerged after Alonso passed Massa going into the pits during the Chinese Grand Prix.
The Brazilian was forced onto the grass at the pit entry in order to avoid contact, and then had to wait behind Alonso to get his pitstop.
Di Montezemolo has now joined his drivers in downplaying the incident.
"There is no dispute between Alonso and Massa, they know well what they have to do and will continue doing it, because they know that they are racing for Ferrari and not for themselves," said di Montezemolo on Ferrari's website.
The Ferrari chief is also hoping his team start winning races again soon after the disappointment of the last three grands prix.
"Let's hope that we'll be back to winning ways soon," added the Italian. "I thought that Sunday would have been the right occasion: I've seen an excellent Alonso in the first five corners, but there was the tiny detail, that he had jumped the start."
