Craig Dolby romped to victory in the big-money superfinal at Silverstone on Sunday, scooping the €100,000 on offer for Tottenham Hotspur.
From pole position, Dolby was outdragged off the startline by Alvaro Parente's FC Porto car, but the Portuguese driver led only until Stowe, where he slid wide and gifted the lead to Dolby. The Briton then disappeared into the distance, winning by 1.7secs over FC Basel's Max Wissel.
Parente also ran wide at Abbey, perhaps suffering a repeat of the tyre pressure problems he reported in the early laps of race one, dropping to the tail of the six-car pack.
Parente picked up one place from Atletico Madrid's John Martin on the Hangar Straight on lap three, but he could do nothing about Chris van der Drift (Olympiacos) and Sebastien Bourdais (Lyon) ahead of him, who finished closely-matched in third and fourth.
"This has been an awesome day," said Dolby. "Thanks to Alan Docking and Tottenham for believing in me. It's been a great weekend - unbelievable. I'm over the moon."
