Maldonado fastest again at Ricard
Pastor Maldonado continued with his domination of GP2 testing after topping the times for the third day in a row at Paul Ricard
The Venezuelan, onboard the Rapax car, clocked a best lap of 1:09.784 in the afternoon session to complete a hat trick of fastest times as the first test of the 2010 season came to an end.
Rookie Jules Bianchi had another strong session in the ART car, the Frenchman finishing as second fastest after having led the way in the morning session. Ocean's Fabio Leimer was third quickest in an incident-filled afternoon.
A total of six red flags hindered the second session, the last one caused by a crash between Marcus Ericsson and Adrian Zaugg with 15 minutes left on the clock.
The second and final pre-season test kicks off at the Barcelona circuit in two weeks' time, before the start of the season there on 8 May.
