Ericsson fastest, Loeb slowest at Jerez
Marcus Ericsson set the fastest time of the final day of this week's GP2 testing at Jerez, while Sebastien Loeb was slowest on his category debut
Ericsson, who won this year's Japanese Formula 3 title, was 13th quickest yesterday for iSport before switching to ART today and setting the best time of the afternoon.
Dani Clos had set the best time of the wet morning session for Racing Engineering, but the times improved by nearly three seconds in the afternoon as the track dried.
Loeb was 18th in the morning driving for DPR, but the five-time World Rally champion slipped back to 25th and last in the afternoon session.
Clos finished the day second fastest to Ericsson, with International Formula Master champion Fabio Leimer third. GP2 regulars Jerome D'Ambrosio and Luiz Razia were fourth and fifth, with Marco Bonanomi completing the top six.
Oliver Turvey was the third fastest rookie in seventh, ahead of Davide Valsecchi, Alexander Rossi and Roldan Rodriguez.
Bruno Senna was 14th quickest on his return to the series with iSport.
