125cc: Iannone takes dominant pole
Andrea Iannone will start on pole position for the Czech 125cc Grand Prix, his second of the season, after dominating qualifying at Brno
The Ongetta Aprilia rider withstood the best efforts of Nicolas Terol and Sandro Cortese to take the top spot with a lap of 2m08.171s.
Championship leader Julian Simon was fourth fastest after Aspar team-mate Bradley Smith failed to move ahead of him despite a last-lap dash which put him fifth on the grid.
Stefan Bradl also set a late flier to go sixth fastest ahead of Sergio Gadea, Pol Espargaro, Efren Vazquez. Johann Zarco completed the top ten.
Marc Marquez could have been in the mix but the 16-year-old Spaniard crashed his Red Bull KTM and will start the race from 20th on the grid.
