Dovizioso expects to stay at Honda

Andrea Dovizioso expects to stay with the factory Honda team in 2010

The Italian, who made his MotoGP debut last year with a JiR Scot satellite Honda before being promoted to the works outfit this season, says talks are on-going with HRC and a contract renewal is likely.

But the riders' market is revolving around Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo, who is pondering a move to Honda after claiming he is worth more than what his current team is offering him.

Meanwhile, Dovizioso's team-mate Dani Pedrosa, who outscores the former 125cc champion by 39 points in the championship this season after the latter failed to finish the last three races, is not ruling out a move to Yamaha, saying Honda hasn't yet made him any offer for next year.

"I think in Brno we will know much more about everybody's future," Dovizioso told AUTOSPORT. "I'm still speaking with Honda and we've agreed on many points, so I think we have good chances to continue."

The Czech Republic Grand Prix will be held on August 16th.
