Massa: Ferrari just not quick enough

Felipe Massa admitted his Ferrari is simply not quick enough after struggling in qualifying ahead of the British Grand Prix

"The balance is not too bad, but the car was maybe a bit slower than the others, so that's the only problem, to be honest," said Massa, who will start from 11th position after missing the cut to go into Q3.

"Maybe the others found better developments in the last weeks and maybe they made a bigger step than us. For sure it's difficult to explain."

Massa reckons there is not much the team can change to his car to achieve a better performance tomorrow.

"I don't think so. We need to see what's going to be the best fuel (strategy), but I don't think there's a massive change we can do in the car to gain a big performance," he added.

"The race will not be so easy, but the race is the race and many things can happen, so I hope we can have some things in our favour."

The Brazilian also conceded using KERS at Silverstone was not a big advantage.

"The KERS doesn't do much here," he concluded.
