Watts tops second practice at Sepang
Danny Watts carried his good form from this morning's running into afternoon practice to top the timesheet once again at Sepang, in the first session of the weekend contested by all the drivers that will race on Sunday
Watts completed just 13 laps in the hour-long session but still edged out Switzerland's Neel Jani, who posted his best time in just nine laps following a gearbox problem that had prevented the car running earlier today.
"With the extra running I got this morning I was always going to be there or there abouts, but I always expected them to catch up," said Watts.
"Looking at the times, the top ten are very close. There's hardly anything in it and it will be the same story tomorrow. It will be very tight at the top."
Narain Karthikeyan was third quickest for India, ahead of Loic Duval (France), Jeroen Bleekemolen (Netherlands) and Filipe Albuquerque (Portugal).
Home hero Fairuz Fauzy was tenth for championship leaders Malaysia after a 180-degree spin at the Turn 9 hairpin midway through the session.
The only stoppage came after just ten minutes, when Edoardo Piscopo's crashed Team Italy car had to be recovered.Pos Driver Team Time Gap
