Coulthard back to Race of Champions
David Coulthard has confirmed that he will contest the Race of Champions for the fifth year in a row in December
The Scot, who will retire from Formula One after this weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix, has been a fixture at the end-of-year event since 2004 and is the third Briton to sign up this year, following fellow F1 driver Jenson Button and multiple World Touring Car champion Andy Priaulx.
"I've enjoyed coming to the Race of Champions immensely for the last few years," said Coulthard. "After a long, hard season it's great to be able to kick back with an event that's so much fun.
"Without the pressure of the F1 season, we can really relax and have fun with our driving - and that can only mean a great spectacle for the fans, so it's also a chance for us to give something back to them for their support."
Button and Priaulx will make up Team Autosport Great Britain, while Coulthard and a yet-to-be-announced teammate will race for Team F1 Racing Great Britain.
