Kobayashi dominates Paul Ricard test
Kamui Kobayashi dominated the second and final day of testing at the Paul Ricard circuit, where the Japanese was quickest for the second day running
The Toyota test driver had already topped the times yesterday and was againg fastest for DAMS in today's sessions, posting the best time in the morning with a lap of 1:12.828.
Kobayashi was also fastest in the afternoon, before a heavy rainstorm hit the track, hindering the teams' progress.
Despite the rain, some teams continued with their work on the final day of testing before next month's session at Jerez.
Andreas Zuber was second fastest for Fisichella Motor Sport, with Davide Valsecchi third quickest for Durango.
Sam Bird was the best of the rookies with the fourth quickest time in the second DAMS car, ahead of fellow debutant Chris Van der Drift.
Twelve of the 13 teams teams will now begin preparing for the start of the GP2 Asia series, travelling to Shanghai for the first race on October 9.
The next GP2 Series test will take place at Jerez at the end of October.
