Webber glad to be back in the top ten

Mark Webber was encouraged after returning to the top ten in qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix following Red Bull's problems in the previous race at Valencia

The Australian, who two weeks ago failed to reach Q3 for the first time in nine races, will start from seventh position after his team showed better speed than in the Spanish race.

Webber confessed, however, that it was "a stress" to get into the final qualifying session given the tight midfield.

"We've got more pace here than in Valencia," said Webber. "It was a stress to get into Q3, it was very tight as usual and all the drivers were pretty evenly matched so you had to find that extra few tenths to get into the final group.

"We'll see how tomorrow goes with the strategy, we're in a reasonable position to mount an attack for some points. It's good to see Alonso and me up there today, it's encouraging for Renault and for our team, for everyone here and in Milton Keynes."

David Coulthard, on the other hand, was not happy with his performance after qualifying down in 14th position.

"I'm not so happy with that," Coulthard said. "Fourteenth doesn't look good, but it's so tight in the mid field and we're separated by such a small margin. Let's see what we can do tomorrow."
