Kolles confident of customer car row end

 Force India team principal Colin Kolles is optimistic that a solution to Formula One's customer car row can be found in the next few weeks following the demise of Super Aguri.
Kolles has taken both Scuderia Toro Rosso and Super Aguri to arbitration in his bid to get a ruling on whether customer cars are outlawed in F1 - and therefore if the teams were eligible to score points last year.
Although he has tried several times to reach a compromise settlement to prevent the need for legal action, he was unable to put together a deal that was acceptable to both teams.
However, with Super Aguri having withdrawn from F1 and gone into administration, Kolles is upbeat that it will be easier to find a solution now he is only dealing with one other team.
"I think so," he told autosport.com when asked about if he felt a solution was now simpler to reach. "It is always, if you play ping pong all day, it is difficult. It is easier to play ping pong with one person than with two people."
The arbitration action has already begun in court, but Kolles has made it clear that he would rather reach a compromise deal with Toro Rosso than see through the legal formalities.
"I think that the indications are very clear that we could win arbitration. I think that by now everybody knows and understands what is the problem and what was happening.
"You never know what happens in arbitration or a court case, but we are very confident that we will be successful. On the other hand, I think it is better for F1 not to have this and to stop it. This was always our aim.
"But the point is that if you are threatened, your survival is threatened, then you have no other choice but to fight back. That is the reason why we had to go to arbitration, not because we liked to go, it was a fight for survival, it was either Super Aguri or us, and Toro Rosso or us.
"But I think in the next few weeks we will try to find a compromise."
