Toyota in no rush to decide on Ralf

Toyota are in no hurry to decide on Ralf Schumacher's future at the team, according to the Japanese squad's president John Howett

Toyota have Jarno Trulli signed for 2008, but Schumacher's future is still in doubt, with his contract running out at the end of the season.

The German driver said yesterday he was not expecting a decision from the team until the season was over, something confirmed by Howett, who said Schumacher was just one of the drivers they are considering for the second seat.

"I guess it is no secret, Jarno has a contract and we are in discussions with Ralf and we are studying the driver market," said Howett in Turkey.

"Ralf is definitely on our list, he is doing a very good job at the moment as we have seen in the last two or three races.

"But we are just not prepared at this moment to take a decision. That is very tough and I have a great deal of personal sympathy  for Ralf, but that is the position. We are waiting to see what moves and I can assure you that Ralf is on our list.

"We feel we can wait longer."
