Q & A with Felipe Massa

Q. How was the test?

Felipe Massa: "It has been good. It is the only day I am testing here, but I am quite happy with the balance of the car straight away, and the laptimes, and the consistency, so I am quite optimistic and looking for better results than in the last three races."

Q. Can you explain after your two wins why the team has fallen behind McLaren?

FM: "It is difficult to explain this kind of thing. The answer is maybe they did better job than us in the last three races. But the championship is not finished, we are still motivated, we are working very hard and we may be in front of the McLarens in the next race."

Q. Rumour has it that you had problems with the wind tunnel?

FM: "No, that is just a rumour, and for sure the people who are saying those things don't understand what is going on."

Q. How are you getting on with Kimi?

FM: "Very well, for sure we are pushing hard, trying to work on the car, to have a good car. Unfortunately he was not able to have a great car in the last few races, but from the next weekend we can have a good car again."

Q. Are you missing Michael Schumacher?

FM: "I am always in touch with him so I cannot really say I am missing him, because I am always talking to him, working together."

Q. Do you like Silverstone?

FM: "It is great track, but I have to say that it is very bumpy everywhere. I think it is a much worse situation than the last year, so they really need to resurface it straightaway otherwise we will have trouble."

Q. Can Silverstone give you a third win?

FM: "I hope so, or maybe Magny-Cours, which is next weekend, so I'm looking forward to next week."

Q. Are you feeling confident then?

FM: "I am really confident with the car I drove here, with the balance and the consistency. We found good grip around the track, we are testing some new stuff on the aerodynamics, so I am really 100% motivated."

Q. The rumour about Schumacher making a comeback, what do you say about that?

FM: "No.. For sure I think I know Michael quite well. When he decides something he decides it, so maybe German TV or the German press are missing him or something, but we have our team for sure, working hard till the end of our contracts."
