Massa optimistic Ferrari will bounce back

Felipe Massa is optimistic his Ferrari team will bounce back from the disappointment of the last three Grands Prix.
The Italian squad started the season strongly but have seen rivals McLaren edge ahead in the last three races in Monaco, Canada and the USA.
Massa has been the strongest Ferrari driver in those three races, but the Brazilian had to be content with distant third places in Monte Carlo and Indianapolis while McLaren have taken three straight wins, including two 1-2 finishes.
But after finishing the last day of Silverstone testing on top of the times, Massa reckons Ferrari could be in better form for the upcoming races.
"It has been good," said Massa of the test. "It is the only day I am testing here, but I am quite happy with the balance of the car straight away, and the laptimes, and the consistency.
"So I am quite optimistic and looking for better results than in the last three races."
Massa, winner of two races this year, was at a loss to explain why Ferrari have dropped behind McLaren following their strong start to the year.
"It is difficult to explain this kind of thing," he added. "The answer is maybe they did better job than us in the last three races. But the championship is not finished, we are still motivated, we are working very hard and we may be in front of the McLarens in the next race."
The Brazilian, who only tested at Silverstone on Thursday, was critical of the British track and claimed it needed to be resurfaced before next month's race.
"It is great track, but I have to say that it is very bumpy everywhere," the Brazilian said. "I think it is a much worse situation than the last year, so they really need to resurface it straightaway, otherwise we will have trouble."
