Customer car row set to drag on

The customer car row appears set to drag on for a little while yet, despite hopes that it may have been resolved in Monaco

The situation has reached a stalemate while the teams wait for Bernie Ecclestone to produce a definition of what he considers a 'constructor' to be.

Autosport.com learned in Spain that the definition had been prepared, and that it was now a matter of presenting it when the team bosses next convened - a meeting that was earmarked for this weekend.

But, according to Spyker's Colin Kolles, the frantic Monaco schedule means that such a get-together is not viable.

"We are waiting for the definition and the proposal, basically. It will come - I think Bernie is working on it," Kolles told autosport.com.

"But it definitely will not come this weekend, because this is the craziest weekend and I don't think we have time to all meet together and discuss it. It's simply not possible.

"I don't know when it will happen, but I think it will be in-between races. It will not happen at a race weekend."
