Zuber on top again at Paul Ricard
Andreas Zuber came out on top at the end of a tight day of GP2 testing at Paul Ricard on Friday
The second day of the test marked the final time that the cars would run before the start of the season in Bahrain next month, and just 1.3 seconds covered the field by the end of the day.
Zuber responded to a strong morning performance from Lucas di Grassi and reigning champions ART Grand Prix by setting yet another fastest time, bringing to an end a very strong winter for iSport.
Super Nova continued to show their good form of late as reigning British Formula Three champion Mike Conway set the second fastest time of the day, while Timo Glock repeated his performance from Thursday to be third in the second iSport car.
Luca Filippi and Pastor Maldonado were strong for the second day running to make the top six, while di Grassi was unable to beat his time from the morning session, and he ended up with the fifth fastest time of the day.
Javier Villa put in an impressive final day of testing for Racing Engineering as he prepares for his second season in the category. The Spaniard was second fastest in the morning session, and ended the day comfortably inside the top ten with the seventh-best time.
