Moreau confirmed at KTR

Guillaume Moreau has been confirmed at Kurt Mollekens's KTR team for 2007, as predicted in this week's Autosport magazine

Frenchman Moreau, who is backed by the French Federation National team (FFSA), graduates from two seasons of F3 Euroseries with the Signature outfit, and was a race winner in 2005 at Zandvoort.

Moreau will partner Belgian Formula Renault Eurocup race winner Bertrand Baguette. Despite the rookie status of his drivers, Mollekens is confident that he is fielding one of the strongest line-ups in the championship.

"It's true Guillaume hasn't tested for us, or driven a World Series car before, so it is going to be a new experience for him," said Mollekens. "On the other hand he's tested a GP2 and Champ car, and is used to left-foot braking, so one can hardly call him a novice."

"I'm sure that talent wise we have a very good driver line-up even if they lack in experience. It may be a difficult start to the year, but we will try to exploit the reverse grids. We know from working with Sean McIntosh last year that a rookie can run up front."
