Bakkerud will also test for Carlin DPR

The Carlin DPR team have completed their line-up for their first test at Valencia later this week with the addition of Christian Bakkerud.

The Dane will take over on Saturday from Andy Soucek who will run on Friday, while Ernesto Viso will drive for the team on both days.

Bakkerud has been associated with Carlin since 2004, when he raced for the team in the Formula BMW UK championship.

For the past two years he has raced for the team in British F3, and scored his maiden victory at Mugello this year.

Bakkerud has already tested GP2 cars for other teams this winter, but team boss Trevor Carlin is pleased that he will be able to give him a chance in yet another type of car.

"Now that we have confirmed our entry into GP2 I am delighted to be able to give Christian this opportunity in a GP2 car," said Trevor Carlin.

"Christian benefits from a good relationship with the Carlin team, and we are looking forward to seeing how he does later this week."
