Ferrari wrap up test in Mugello and Fiorano

Ferrari wrapped up their testing programme for this week with cars running on both of their home circuits, at Mugello and Fiorano

Michael Schumacher continued his testing work from yesterday at Mugello, the German focusing on development of new components as well as Bridgestone tyre evaluation for the final three races of the season.

Schumacher covered a total of 98 laps - 14 of them on the short configuration of the track. His best time was 1:20.366.

The Ferrari driver was joined today by official test driver Luca Badoer, who took over from Marc Gene. Badoer covered a total of 148 laps (four on the short track), setting a best time of 1:22.355.

In the mean time, Felipe Massa shook down the cars that will be used in the Chinese and Japanese Grand Prix.

The Brazilian ran a total of 20 laps - half on the short version of the track - with the quickest being 59.240 seconds.

Ferrari will resume testing in Jerez, Spain, after the Japanese Grand Prix next month.
