Kolles still unhappy about V10 situation

Midland Racing managing director Colin Kolles appears unlikely to quell his unhappiness at Toro Rosso's V10 engine situation despite his rivals only just outqualifying his team in Bahrain

Toro Rosso's Vitantonio Liuzzi and Scott Speed will line up 15th and 16th on the grid at Sakhir, with Midland's Christijan Albers and Tiago Monteiro taking 18 and 19th respectively.

And although Toro Rosso failed to live up to some expectations that they would get inside the top 10 on the grid, Kolles has said he is still not happy with the equivalency formula.

Speaking about his feelings now on the V10 restrictions after seeing the qualifying performances, he told autosport.com: "I have said already too much, but the situation doesn't change for me because to me it is very obvious."

When asked whether he wanted action to be taken to curb the performance of the V10 engines, Kolles said: "It is not in our power."

The Toro Rosso situation has been one of the main talking points of the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend, with BMW motorsport director Mario Theissen and Mercedes-Benz motorsport boss Norbert Haug both claiming that the Red Bull junior team have a chance of finishing on the podium.   

They are adamant that despite an air intake restriction and a rev-limit, the V10 engines have a power advantage over the V8s.
