Silverstone F1 test: Gasly and Ferrucci join driver line-up
Pierre Gasly and Santino Ferrucci will take part in next week's Formula 1 in-season test at Silverstone with Red Bull and Haas respectively
Red Bull junior Gasly represented Toro Rosso in the first in-season test at Barcelona in May, but will spend both days after the British Grand Prix in the RB12.
The French driver is eighth in the GP2 points and chasing his first win.
"Any time you get an opportunity to drive an F1 car, you have to grab it with both hands," Red Bull team principal Christian Horner said.
"So he has an important job to fill with the test next week."
Like Red Bull with Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen, Haas used its allocation of two days for race drivers at Barcelona.
American Ferrucci joined Haas as a development driver in March, and next week's test will be his first taste of an F1 car.
The 18-year-old is yet to score a point in GP3, four races into his rookie season.
"We brought Santino on with Haas F1 Team because he's done a very good job of proving himself in each of the racing series he's competed in," team principal Gunther Steiner said.
"We see Santino as a young, American driver with a lot of potential who has earned this opportunity."
