Autosport Awards 2015: Lewis Hamilton wins two awards
Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton scooped a 2015 Autosport Awards double by claiming both the British Competition and International Racing Driver prizes

The Autosport Awards are a series of awards presented by motor racing magazine Autosport to drivers that have achieved significant milestones each season. Some of the presentations are selected by the general public via a reader's poll.
With Hamilton unable to attend the event, the awards were collected on his behalf by Mercedes motorsport chief Toto Wolff.
"Maybe I might take them home," Wolff joked. "My wife [Susie Wolff] was nominated for an award 10 years ago."
Speaking in a specially-recorded video message, Hamilton said: "I'm very grateful.
"As it's the public and not a panel of voting, that means there are a lot of readers of Autosport - including myself - voting. It's a great feeling.
After the 2014 title fight with Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg went down to the wire, Hamilton secured his first back to back championship success in more dominant fashion.
On pole for 11 of the first 12 grands prix and victorious in 10 of the season's 19 races, the 30-year-old Briton sealed the championship with three rounds to spare at the United States Grand Prix in late October.
Rosberg and Ferrari F1 driver Sebastian Vettel were among Hamilton's opponents in the International Racing Driver category, along with IndyCar champion Scott Dixon and rival Juan Pablo Montoya, and dominant GP2 force Stoffel Vandoorne.
In the British Competition Driver race, Hamilton faced McLaren F1 driver Jenson Button, DTM title protagonist Jamie Green, Le Mans 24 Hours winner Nick Tandy, Formula Renault 3.5 champion Oliver Rowland and World Rally Championship event winner Kris Meeke.
The 2015 awards marked fourth wins for Hamilton in both categories. Earlier in his career he had also claimed the British Club Driver honour for his domination of Formula Renault UK in 2003 and Rookie of the Year for both winning GP2 at the first attempt in '06 and his startling maiden F1 campaign the following year.
