Ferrari F1 boss Arrivabene won't compare Vettel and Raikkonen

Ferrari Formula 1 team principal Maurizio Arrivabene says he has no interest in comparing the performances of Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen over grands prix weekends

Vettel took Ferrari's third win of the season in the Singapore Grand Prix, leading from the start after taking a dominant pole position on Saturday.

While Raikkonen came home third to complete Ferrari's first double podium finish of the year, the Finn admitted to "mixed feelings" after a weekend where he struggled to get the most out of the SF15-T.

When asked by AUTOSPORT why Raikkonen struggled compared to Vettel in Singapore, Arrivabene said: "I don't want to do comparisons between our drivers.

"They were both on the podium and for me that is more than enough.

"In Monza Kimi was very strong - this time it's Sebastian.

"Sebastian loves this circuit and is particularly strong here."

Arrivabene also dismissed suggestions Raikkonen had any particular problems on his car last weekend.

"Kimi is always complaining!" he joked. "No, no problems at all.

"It's the usual comments when they are discussing the settings of the car, but nothing special."

Raikkonen said he wasn't fussed about losing out to Vettel because the overall result for Ferrari was most important.

"Obviously you try to beat your team-mates; sometimes you lose, sometimes you win," he said.

"But in the end you are happy the team did well. So it's a win-win situation.

"I'd rather be with him in the same team and he wins and I'm in third place than he's in another team other than Ferrari.

"I didn't have the best few days but, fair enough, he was faster.

"As a team we work well, and that's the most important thing."
