Williams F1 team announces Susie Wolff's seat time for 2015

Williams has finalised Susie Wolff's Formula 1 programme for 2015, with the Spanish and British Grands Prix selected for her Friday practice outings

Wolff, who has been promoted to test driver status this season, will also get a day of running in the post-race tests following the Spanish and Austrian GPs.

She made her debut for the year by driving on the opening day of the second winter test at Barcelona last month.

"Our focus this year is to build on the success of 2014 - I've been training hard all winter and I am physically in the best shape I've ever been, so I am ready for the season ahead," Wolff said.

"As official test driver I will have additional time in the FW37 and by correlating this with my work in the simulator, the team can ensure we are getting the best from the car and check how updates are performing."

Wolff's Barcelona and Silverstone runs are currently the only times Williams has plans to use an alternative driver in Friday practice this season.

It has also signed GP3 champion Alex Lynn as a development driver, but his only scheduled time in the car so far is on the other day of post-race Barcelona testing and he does not expect Friday running to feature in his 2015 programme.
