Ollie Jackson to drive a second Welch Proton in 2014 BTCC
Ollie Jackson will switch from Speedworks to drive a second Welch Proton in the 2014 British Touring Car Championship
Jackson scored a top-10 finish in the 2013 season-opener at Brands Hatch, but thereafter struggled to trouble the top order and wound up 20th overall.
Welch ran cars for Daniel Welch, who will partner Jackson, and an S2000 Ford Focus for David Nye last year.

"We were one of the first NGTC teams, so last year we pinpointed our weaknesses and we've worked on them," said Welch, who confirmed the team is building a second NGTC Proton for Jackson.
"I'm excited - it's going to be a good package this year.
"It also helps running a second car, because you can develop as twice the speed. So we're building and getting better."
Jackson said he was looking forward to contribution to the team, adding: "It sounds like Dan is already confident with the set-up, so we should have a good starting point.
"The guys know what they are doing and how to go forward, so it's looking good.
"I hope to do better than I have done previously, but it gets more competitive every year.
"The Proton is lighter than the Toyota so that helps, and I've lost weight too."
