Citroen says works WRC drive is possible for Robert Kubica

Robert Kubica could be driving a factory Citroen DS3 WRC before the end of this year, according to team principal Yves Matton.
The Polish star is currently contesting the WRC 2 series and Matton says an early success for the former F1 racer could be enough to promote him to his first outing in a World Rally car.
Kubica is also being linked to a works Citroen seat next season.
"He is fighting for the [WRC 2] title at the moment," said Matton, "and this is most important for him, but if he wins this before the end of the season then why not?
"We and he are not thinking about this for the moment, but it is possible.
"For sure he is also on the short list that I will do for next year. At the moment, I am waiting until after Germany to think about what I will do with the drivers.
"But, if Robert continues like he is doing for the last two or three rallies and growing like he is at the moment then I would say it would be normal for him to be on the list for a few rallies - I don't say the full championship."
Kubica told AUTOSPORT: "It's not true that I have done a deal to drive a World Rally car in Spain and as for next year, I don't know what I am doing next year.
"If I decide to stay in rallying then I would consider driving a World Rally car."
