Will Buller joins Fortec for British F3
Northern Irish Formula 3 racer Will Buller is a last-minute addition to the entry list for this weekend's British F3 International Series opener at Silverstone, and will drive a Fortec Motorsport Dallara-Mercedes
Buller, 20, has been contesting this year's F3 European Championship in a T-Sport Dallara-Nissan. He lies 11th in the points, with a best result of fourth in the opening race at Monza.
He has extensive experience with Fortec - he raced in Formula BMW Europe with the team in 2008 and '09, the Formula Renault UK Winter Series in '08 and then in British F3 in '11, when he took one race win.
Team principal Richard Dutton said: "Will wanted to do the British championship and I don't think T-Sport wanted to, so we said we could run him. He has to be a title contender."
Buller, whose first taste of Fortec's version of the latest-spec Dallara F312 chassis will come in Silverstone's Friday test, joins Puerto Rican Felix Serralles and Brazilian Felipe Guimaraes in the team's British F3 line-up.
Meanwhile Double R Racing now looks almost certain to run its F3 European Championship regular Tatiana Calderon.
