John Bryant-Meisner joins British F3 field
German Formula 3 Cup contender John Bryant-Meisner is to contest the opening round of the British Formula 3 International Series at Silverstone next weekend
The 18-year-old Swede will join the grid for the May 25/26 event in his Performance Racing Dallara powered by the German F3 spec Volkswagen engine, and hopes to complete the rest of the British F3 rounds too.
Bryant-Meisner lies third in the German F3 points after winning the reversed-grid races at each of the opening two rounds.
His manager, former karting ace Fraser Sheader, confirmed to AUTOSPORT that his additional programme with Performance was in a bid to get as much racing experience as possible, after he was forced to sit out most of the 2012 season due to breaking his back in a testing crash at Rockingham.
Bryant-Meisner is the first German F3 Cup contender to be confirmed for British F3, in which he will run in the National Class.
